Fir Tree Maraca
This fir tree maraca is perfect for Holiday crafting & gifts and also perfect for forest/nature lovers. This maraca is not filled and can be filled with your choice of noisemaker: rice, beans, beads, buttons, and more. The maraca is unfinished, sanded smooth, and ready for your choice of paint, stain, or sealer.
The maraca was hand turned from Linden wood by an artisan in Europe
Instructions:
To fill the maraca, "break" open the tree from the handle like you would a nesting doll or any other box shape we have in our shop. Then put your filler inside the tree, holding it upside down. Add your choice of wood glue to the outside rim of the handle (don't make it too thick). Then put the handle down into the upside down tree. Wipe off any excess wood glue and let cure before finishing your craft project.
