This set of 2 wooden kokeshi peg dolls is unfinished, sanded smooth, and ready for your choice of paint, stain, or sealer. Their bodies are similar to the standard peg doll, but they have the signature Kokeshi head shape and size which is why we have called them modern kokeshi peg dolls.
The peg dolls were hand turned by an artisan in Europe from Linden wood. They are made from one solid piece of wood (no glues). Due to their handcrafted nature, there may variations between batches. There will also be variations in wood color and smooth knots due to the nature of the wood used.
