BIOFA Color Wax is a solvent-free natural wax glaze that is produced from renewable raw materials. It is made without the use of harmful or irritating additives. The Color Wax is ideal for the protection and finishing of untreated interior wooden surfaces. It is not recommended to use inside of furniture as there is a risk of odors.
The wooden surfaces treated with Color Wax are diffusible and dirt-repellent with a semi-gloss finish. To increase the glossiness of the surface, Colored Wax can be manually or mechanically polished after it dries. To increase gloss, the color wax can be polished after it's dried.
When using tinted Colored Wax, a final coat with the clear Colored Wax is recommended, as this improves resistance to abrasion and wiping.
BIOFA Color Wax complies with stringent European regulations such as EN 71, part 3 and 9 and DIN 53160.
The Color Wax is available in almost any RAL color. All colors can be mixed with each other.
