This is our largest egg that opens. It was hand turned by artisan in Europe from Linden wood. The egg is unfinished, sanded smooth, and ready for your choice of paint, stain, or sealer.
Due to its handcrafted nature, there may variations between batches. There also will be variations in wood color and smooth knots due to the nature of the wood used.
***DISCOUNT - this batch of eggs came much easier to open. But we have a slight discount in case there are any issues as these eggs are very big and may even require leverage against something to open as they are harder for smaller hands to grab. If the egg is harder to open, you will need to hold it vertical and push the sides in to break the seam. Then lay the egg on it's side on a soft, but firm surface and push your palms on either side of the opening. We will try and make a video, but if you need help before then, send us a message. Once it's open you can take 150 grit sandpaper on the upper rim and sand it down to make it easier to open***
